November 2007,

It was the first snow of what was about to be a record winter in terms of snow fall in Montreal.

Birds everywhere, the fish where still around, the water was a toasty 6C. Those late days of diving are a godsend for us since winter diving get's difficult with temperatures well below -10C as well as snow banks that make it difficult to even get to the water. Winter truly sets in when the fish finally retreats below the ice and we are reduced to taking pictures of strange creatures and ice floats.

That day we got to release a sturgeon caught in fishing line and caught some of last walleyes of the year.
